El impuesto sobre la masa global hereditaria se hace efectivo únicamente sobre las sucesiones gravadas con él, o sea sobre las de personas fallecidas del 1º de mayo de 1936 en adelante, y conforme a la tarifa establecida por el artículo 2º de la Ley 63 de ese año.
