Cada inversión que el Instituto o las Cajas Seccionales realicen en ejecución de sus presupuesto de inversión, necesitará de la aprobación del Consejo Directivo del Instituto. Esta facultad podrá ser delegada por el Consejo Directivo, en las condiciones y hasta el límite que se determine, en las Juntas Directivas de las Cajas Seccionales o en una comisión de inversiones, cuyo funcionamiento determinarán los reglamentos del instituto de la cual necesariamente formará parte un miembro del mismo Consejo.
