Art. 204. Si pasado un año después del día en que haya debido ser presentada una cuenta, sin que el responsable ni sus fiadores ó herederos la presentaren, ni el Contador hubiere tenido medios de formarla por tanteo á falta de la posterior ó anterior, el expresado Contador dictará como alcance, á cargo del responsable ó de sus fiadores ó herederos, en su caso, todo el cargo que resulte á juicio del mismo Contador, deduciendo únicamente los sueldos de los empleados y gastos de material de la oficina á que se refiere la cuenta en el tiempo que ella abraza.
