Es prohibida toda declaración de valor superior al realmente incluido en una encomienda y se considera como fraudulenta. En caso de declaración de esta naturaleza, el remitente pierde todo derecho a indemnización, sin perjuicio de las acciones judiciales a que haya lugar.
