La Inspección residirá durante las temporadas de pesca en la zona respectiva y en el campamento general designado. Pasada la temporada puede residir en Ríohacha, desde donde el Inspector organizará y sostendrá la vigilancia en los mares y costas sometidas a su jurisdicción, debiendo trasladarse a los puntos donde sea necesaria su presencia.
