Si reivindicándose una cosa corporal mueble, hubiere motivo de temer que se pierda o deteriore en manos del poseedor, podrá el actor pedir su secuestro; i el poseedor será obligado a consentir en él o a dar seguridad suficiente de restitución para el caso de ser condenado a restituir.
