Art. 6.° El pago de los sueldos de los Tenientes políticos y de sus Secretarios es de cargo del Tesoro nacional, y se hará por la Administración general de las nuevas rentas, quien debe hacer la reglamentación del caso.

Parágrafo

Exceptúanse de esta disposición los sueldos de aquellos Tenientes y Secretarios cuyo pago ha estado á cargo de los Departamentos, Rematadores ó Contratistas.
