Excepciones al retiro por edad y disminución de la capacidad sicofisica . No obstante lo dispuesto en los artículos anteriores, el Gobierno o la Dirección General de la Policía Nacional, podrán mantener en servicio activo a aquellos Oficiales y Suboficiales que por su trayectoria profesional lo merezcan y cuando sus capacidades puedan ser aprovechadas en determinadas actividades. Cuando se trate de Oficiales se requerirá concepto favorable de la Junta Asesora de la Policía Nacional.
