Las medidas de prevención, protección y atención contempladas en la presente ley son aplicables en todo el territorio nacional para todas las niñas, adolescentes y mujeres que sufran una ablación o mutilación genital femenina independientemente del contexto en que suceda y sin distinción alguna por razones de etnia, edad o nacionalidad.
