Cada tomo del Protocolo debe estar foliado, y se clausurará con una nota en que conste el número de folios y de instrumentos otorgado, y tendrá un índice alfabético por apellidos de los otorgantes, en el cual se expresará además el número y fecha del instrumento y clase de negocio. Tanto la nota de clausura como el índice serán suscritos por el Notario.
