Objeto. El presente capítulo tiene por objeto establecer los lineamientos encaminados a la puesta en marcha del Sistema de Formación Continua para el Talento Humano en Salud, a que refiere el artículo 98 de la Ley 1438 de 2011, como instrumento para facilitar la formación continua del talento humano en salud, partícipe del servicio de salud, prestado en el contexto del Sistema General de Seguridad Social en Salud, con el objetivo de optimizar el desempeño e idoneidad de dicho talento humano, y promover su desarrollo personal y ocupacional, que redunde en la calidad de los servicios de salud recibidos por los usuarios del Sistema.
