El Gobierno nacional, el Congreso de la República y las Fuerzas Armadas rendirán homenaje a los “Héroes del Pienta”, en acto especial y protocolario, el 4 de agosto de cada año en el municipio de Charalá, en el puente del río Pienta. Evento que contará con la presencia de altos funcionarios del Gobierno nacional, Congreso de la República y demás autoridades locales y regionales. Llevándose a cabo una parada militar de las Fuerzas Armadas.
