El Instituto en el cumplimiento de sus funciones se ceñirá al Decreto 89 de 1976 y a los presentes estatutos y no podrá desarrollar actividades o ejecutar actos distintos, ni destinar cualquier parte de sus bienes o recursos para fines diferentes de los contemplados en las citadas normas.
