Créase el Sistema Nacional de Información de la Educación Superior el cual tendrá como objetivo fundamental divulgar información para orientar a la comunidad sobre la calidad, cantidad y características de las instituciones y programas del Sistema.

La reglamentación del Sistema Nacional de Información corresponde al Consejo Nacional de Educación Superior (CESU).
