Decreto 538 de 2008 · por el cual se dictan normas relacionadas con la inversión de los recursos de las entidades estatales del orden nacional y territorial.

Para la estructuración y actualización del flujo de caja las entidades deberán considerar, como mínimo, los siguientes aspectos

Control y seguimiento a las fuentes constitutivas de ingresos;

Planeación y programación de pagos;

Previsión oportuna de financiación.

Parágrafo

Las entidades, con base en el resultado del flujo de caja, deberán definir las políticas para la optimización de los excedentes y/o para determinar, con sujeción a las normas legales aplicables, las alternativas, características y oportunidad de la financiación requerida.
