El Director General del INPEC deberá adoptar las medidas necesarias que garanticen la modificación de la planta de personal, con el fin de reducir el número de cargos a nivel central y fortalecer las plantas de personal de las regionales y de los establecimientos carcelarios. Igualmente, deberá definir los procesos y procedimientos, para facilitar la labor administrativa y la implantación de un modelo de administración por resultados.
