Funciones del Instituto de Hidrología, Meteorología y Estudios Ambientales, Ideam. Los laboratorios del Ideam adelantarán las pruebas de monitoreo de la calidad ambiental del Sistema Nacional Ambiental y servirán de referencia para las pruebas de calidad del aire, del suelo, calidad del agua de uso diferente al consumo humano y recreativo, de acuerdo a la competencias y funciones establecidas en el Decreto 1600 de 1994.
