El individuo que siendo parte de un proceso civil incurra en falso testimonio, será castigado con reclusión por cuatro a veinte meses y multa de diez a doscientos pesos.

Si el culpable se retractare antes de que se dicte sentencia, la pena será de reclusión por veinte días a cuatro.
