Art. 169. Las cuantías de que habla la presente Ley se entenderán en nuestra moneda legal de oro, y esta misma moneda se tendrá en cuenta para la imposición de las penas conforme á las leyes penales; respecto de éstas los Jueces harán las reducciones indispensables tomando por base el tipo del cambio oficial.
