º. Cómputo de los excesos y defectos. Para efectos del cumplimiento del porcentaje establecido en el artículo 1º de este decreto, los establecimientos de crédito podrán computar los excesos de colocación en vivienda de interés social a que se refieren los artículos 44 de la Ley 9º de 1989 y 5º de la Ley 3º de 1991, registrados a 31 de diciembre de 1997, hasta por el diecisiete por ciento (17%) del requerido en cada período de control.
