Los Municipios que en el sector educativo asumieron las funciones de administración de personal en virtud de la Ley 29 de 1989, continuarán ejerciéndolas hasta que los Departamentos o Distritos asuman las competencias definidas por la Ley 60 de 1993, sin perjuicio de que pueda producirse un acuerdo entre estos entes territoriales para que aún en este último evento los municipios continúen con estas funciones.
