Para efectos de este Decreto se entiende por plaguicida todo producto destinado a ser aplicado en el medio ambiente con el objeto de combatir organismos capaces de producir daños en el hombre, los animales, las plantas, las semillas y los objetos inanimados.

Parágrafo

Los plaguicidas de uso doméstico no podrán contener sustancias incluidas en la categoría 1 de toxicidad: Altamente tóxico, excepto en diluciones adecuadas y previa aceptación del Ministerio de Salud. Sección 2 DE LAS ETIQUETAS, ROTULOS Y EMPAQUES
