Seguridad Pública . Es la garantía que el Estado le proporciona a sus asociados, con el propósito de asegurar el Orden Público de las alteraciones de carácter inminente y actual; en tanto que la seguridad ciudadana se concibe como un instrumento más amplio que se orienta a mejorar la calidad de vida de los ciudadanos, incluyendo la prevención de la violencia, el crimen urbano y cualquier tipo de trasgresión que atente contra la seguridad individual y comunitaria.
