Los concesionario del servicio de radiodifusión sonora en Frecuencia Modulada, podrán disminuir la potencia autorizadas, siempre que continúen prestando adecuadamente el servicio en el municipio o distrito para el cual fue autorizado, En todo caso, las estaciones de radiodifusión en Frecuencia, Modulada deberán emitir una señal cuya intensidad sea al menos de tres punto dieciséis microvoltios-metro (3.14 uV/m) en toda el área urbana del municipio o distrito para el cual se otorgó la concesión.
