Quien obtenga el nombramiento de Contralor o Auditor General, en propiedad debe comprobar dentro del término que tiene para manifestar su aceptación ante el Presidente de la República, que reúne las condiciones exigidos por la ley para el desempeño del cargo. Sin esta comprobación no podrá tomar posesión del empleo.

Parágrafo

En lo referente a los empleados de manejo la comprobación se hará ante el Ministerio que haga el nombramiento y consistirá en una certificación del Contralor General e informaciones sumarias de testigos hábiles, tomadas con intervención del Ministerio Público.
