El profesional o practicante de medicina, odontología, enfermería, farmacia o alguna de las respectivas profesiones auxiliares que, en ejercicio de ellas, ilegalmente formule, suministre o aplique droga que produzca dependencia, incurrirá en prisión de tres (3) a ocho (8) años. Además de la sanción establecida en el inciso anterior, se impondrá la suspensión en el ejercicio de la profesión por un término de cinco (5) a diez (10) años.
