Al constituirse una propiedad por pisos, departamentos, propiedad horizontal o condominio, se mantendrán el registro catastral y el folio de matrícula correspondiente al edificio en general, con las debidas anotaciones, para lo relativo a los bienes de uso común. Para las unidades privadas de dominio pleno resultantes de la constitución de propiedad por pisos u horizontal, se abrirán los correspondientes registros catastrales y folios de matrículas independientes, segregados del registro y del folio general, tanto para señalar su procedencia, como para indicar la cuota que a cada propietario individual corresponde en los bienes comunes. En el registro catastral y en el folio de matrícula general, como en los registros y folios individuales, se sentarán recíprocas notas de referencia.
