Lo prevenido en los artículos anteriores no tendrá lugar si el Capitán comprobare que la falta de los documentos expresados provino de un accidente que no pudo prever ni evitar, como naufragio, incendio o violencia perpetrada por piratas. Tampoco se guardarán estas reglas si el buque no ha sido despachado para puerto colombiano, y sólo arriba por una necesidad o accidente. En este se procederá como lo dispone el artículo siguiente de esta Ley.
