Los mataderos para ganado porcino cumplirán con lo establecido en la presente Ley y sus reglamentaciones, salvo en lo relativo a áreas para cabezas, patas y pieles. Además, deberán tener áreas destinadas exclusivamente al escaldado o pelado, con los equipos adecuados.

El Ministerio de Salud reglamentará los sistemas que deberán utilizarse para el escaldado o pelado de porcinos.
