De la suma de que trata el artículo anterior, destinase la de quinientos pesos ($ 500) para la celebración de un concurso histórico y científico, que organizara la Junta, relativo a la vida y sacrificio de Policarpa Salavarrieta, a la participación de la mujer colombiana en la guerra de la Independencia nacional, y a las reformas que deben hacerse en la legislación patria, en defensa y protección de la mujer.
