Decreto 726 de 1989 · Por el cual se reglamenta la Ley 18 de 1988 y se determinan las características generales de los Títulos de Ahorro Educativo, T.A.E., así como la naturaleza de las inversiones o préstamos que se puedan efectuar con estos recursos.

º Los Títulos de Ahorro Educativo, T.A.E., son Títulos valores que incorporan el derecho a futuro de asegurar a su tenedor, el valor de los costos de matrícula, de textos y de otros gastos académicos que el Título garantice y que el Icetex cancelará a su presentación y en cuotas iguales a las pactadas al momento de su suscripción.

Parágrafo

Los Títulos de Ahorro Educativo, T.A.E., no garantizan los servicios educativos, sino que su valor se debe utilizar para atender los gastos educativos previstos en el presente artículo.
