Llegada la hora señalada, el Juez exige juramento al tenedor de los bienes de denunciar los elementos del activo y del pasivo y de la sucesión, o de la sociedad conyugal ilíquida, en su caso, y hecho esto, se procede a hacer el inventario y el avalúo decretados.

Con la misma formalidad cualquier interesado, o el Síndico recaudador del impuesto de sucesiones puede denunciar bienes.
