Condición o Carácter. Los miembros de la Policía Cívica de Mayores y Policía Cívica Juvenil, no están investidos de autoridad ni tienen carácter de servidores públicos y sus actuaciones se limitan al apoyo de los miembros de la Policía Nacional, no pueden utilizar prendas ni elementos de uso privativo de la Fuerza Pública y responden personal e individualmente de sus actos.

Parágrafo

El nombre de la Policía Cívica y el carácter que esta impone a sus miembros no servirá para amparar actividades distintas a las contempladas en este Título.
