Obligatoriedad. Los diseños, colores, materiales, condiciones de uso y demás especificaciones de los uniformes y distintivos utilizados por el personal de vigilancia y seguridad privada, serán establecidos por la Superintendencia de Vigilancia y Seguridad Privada mediante resolución, que será de obligatorio cumplimiento.

Quedan excluidos del inciso anterior, los escoltas a personas, mercancías y vehículos.

Parágrafo

En todo caso, las características de los uniformes siempre deberán ser diferentes a los de la Fuerza Pública y otros cuerpos oficiales armados.
