PRESTACIONES SOCIALES Y ECONOMICAS. A partir de la vigencia del presente Estatuto, se prohibe a todas las entidades públicas y privadas del sector salud y a las entidades del Sistema de Seguridad Social en Salud, asumir directamente las prestaciones asistenciales y económicas, que estén cubiertas por los fondos de cesantías o las entidades de previsión y seguridad social correspondientes, las cuales deberán atenderse mediante afiliación a éstas de sus empleados y trabajadores.
