En caso de que un miembro de la Corte Electoral presente excusa para intervenir en un asunto determinado, la Corte Electoral la aceptará si es del caso y designará para reemplazarlo un Magistrado ad hoc de su misma filiación política. En las faltas temporales o absolutas de uno o más Magistrados de la Corte Electoral, la Corte Suprema de Justicia designará Magistrado interino o en propiedad según el caso con arreglo a lo establecido en el artículo segundo de la presente Ley.
