La Autoridad Minera elaborará, dentro de los tres (3) años siguientes a la vigencia de la presente ley, el Plan Nacional de Ordenamiento Minero, en cuya elaboración y adopción deberá tener en cuenta las políticas, normas, determinantes y directrices establecidas en materia ambiental y de ordenamiento del territorio, expedidas por el Ministerio de Ambiente, Vivienda y Desarrollo Territorial o quien haga sus veces.
