El objetivo principal de la Imprenta Nacional de Colombia es la edición, impresión, divulgación y comercialización de las normas, documentos y publicaciones de las entidades del sector oficial del orden nacional, en aras de garantizar la seguridad jurídica. Así mismo, podrá elaborar, divulgar y comercializar los demás, documentos y publicaciones que requieran las entidades oficiales.
