Funciones. Son funciones de la Coordinación Departamental de la Policía Cívica

Dirigir y controlar el funcionamiento de la Policía Cívica en su jurisdicción de acuerdo con los lineamientos de la Dirección de Participación Comunitaria.

Evaluar el cumplimiento de la misión y objetivos de la Policía Cívica.

Programar y coordinar cursos de entrenamiento, actualización y capacitación para los miembros de la Policía Cívica que conlleven al mejor desempeño y cumplimiento de sus objetivos.

Preparar, coordinar y realizar el Congreso Nacional de Policía Cívica en su respectiva sede cuando haya sido designada para ello.

Las demás que le asigne la Coordinación Nacional de Policía Cívica.
