Art. 7.° La Junta tendrá un Tesorero de libre nombramiento y remoción del Gobierno, que será el encargado de percibir de la Tesorería general la asignación que aquí se señala; de hacer los pagos que ordene el Presidente de la Junta, y de intervenir en todo lo concerniente al manejo de los fondos destinados á la carretera. Será, en consecuencia, responsable del Erario, prestará una fianza prendaria, hipotecaria ó personal por valor de $ 2,000 oro y formará y rendirá sus cuentas á la Corte del Ramo, de acuerdo oon lo dispuesto en el artículo 7.° de la mencionada Ley 48 de 1903 .
