Artículo sexto. Variación del capital por orden de autoridad. Cuando el Superintendente Nacional de Salud determine que el capital de una Entidad Promotora de Salud ha caído por debajo de los límites mínimos establecidos en las disposiciones legales correspondientes o en sus estatutos, afectándose gravemente su continuidad en la prestación del servicio, podrá pedir las explicaciones del caso y ordenarle que cubra la deficiencia dentro de un término no superior a seis (6) meses.
