Las disposiciones de esta lei no comprenden las pensiones concedidas por los servicios prestados a la causa de la independencia de la República hasta 31 de diciembre de 1823, las cuales continuarán pagándose de conformidad con lo dispuesto en el decreto lejislativo de 19 de noviembre último, que determina cómo deben pagarse las pensiones a los militares de la independencia.
