Decreto 512 de 1989 · por el cual se modifica la estructura del Departamento Administrativo de Seguridad y se establecen las funciones generales de la entidad específicas de sus dependencias.

De la División de Transportes . Corresponde a la División de Transportes

Supervisar y controlar el personal de conductores y mecánicos y promover su capacitación y entrenamiento.

Organizar, dirigir y controlar el uso del parque automotor, terrestre, fluvial, marítimo y aéreo del Departamento.

Mantener en óptimas condiciones el sistema de transporte individual y colectivo de la institución y suministrar los repuestos, combustibles y lubricantes que necesite para operar.

Administrar los talleres de mecánica automotriz del Departamento.
