Una vez hecho el registro, inmediatamente después de él, se expide y entrega un certificado al interesado. En este certificado debe constar la fecha en que se ha verificado la inscripción; el libro o libros y el folio o folios en que se ha hecho el registro; el título de la obra registrada y demás circunstancias que en su caso contribuyan a hacerla conocer perfectamente y sirvan para identificarla en cualquier momento; el nombre, apellidos, identificación y domicilio del titular, a cuyo nombre hayan sido inscritos los derechos intelectuales.
