Ley 60 de 1939 · Por la cual se dictan algunas disposiciones sobre tránsito

Los vehículos ya matriculados podrán registrarse en cualquier Dirección, autorizada, sin pagar nueva matrícula, siempre que llenen los siguientes requisitos:

Presentar el certificado del Municipio de origen, en el cual conste que el vehículo fue debidamente registrado;

Presentar el certificado de estar a paz y salvo con los impuestos o multas del Municipio de origen; y

Entregar las placas que tenían anteriormente a la Dirección donde solicite la nueva matrícula, para que ésta las remita a la oficina de origen, a fin de que se haga la cancelación respectiva.
