Art. 18. No se impondrán contribuciones nacionales, municipales, ni de ninguna otra clase sobre el canal, ni sobre los buques de remolque de la compañia, ni sobre sus almacenes, muelles, máquinas u o-tras obras, cosas o efectos de cualquiera especie que le pertenezcan, i que a juicio del poder Ejecutivo se necesiten para el servicio del canal o de sus dependencias, durante el tiempo concedido a la compañía para construir i disfrutar del canal.
