Ley 21 de 1945 · Sobre acuñación y reacuñación de monedas de plata y de cobre-níquel

Autorízase al Gobierno para que, de acuerdo con la Junta Directiva del Banco de la República, emita monedas de plata hasta completar en circulación la suma de veintiún millones ($21.000.00) (sic) incluyendo en esta suma las monedas que respalden los certificados de plata.

Parágrafo

El Gobierno señalará las características de estas monedas; serán de una aleación de 0.500 de plata y de un peso de 25 gramos por cada peso.
