Para el cumplimiento de sus funciones los miembros de la Policía Cívica Local, no podrán portar armas. Contarán con el respaldo de la fuerza pública, cuando la naturaleza del servicio lo exija, o a criterio de Alcalde se haga necesario. Para estos efectos los alcaldes procederán conforme al artículo 11 de la presente Ley.
