A partir de la vigencia de la presente Ley, fíjanse los siguientes tiempos mínimos de servicio en cada uno de los siguientes grados, como requisito para ascender al inmediatamente superior:
Teniente Coronel o Capitán de Fragata, 5 años. Brigadier General o Contralmirante, 4 años. Mayor General o Vicealmirante, 4 años.
