En el caso en el que la persona en favor de la cual se activó el mecanismo de búsqueda urgente sea hallada ilegalmente privada de la libertad por autoridades públicas, se dispondrá su liberación inmediata. Si la misma no fuere procedente, se pondrá a disposición de la autoridad competente y se ordenará su traslado al centro de reclusión más cercano. De ser pertinente, el funcionario dará inicio al trámite de hábeas corpus.
